The hotel was delightful and conveniently located near the center of Chamonix. With an abundance of restaurants and shops nearby and its proximity to the river, the setting felt truly idyllic. The staff were pleasant, and the rooms were exceptionally comfortable, albeit on the smaller side. However, the rooms were tastefully furnished, and we enjoyed having a balcony overlooking the river. While the spa facility consisted of only a small steam sauna, it was a nice addition to our stay (though we just hope that the seating is sanitized between each use). The breakfast provided was exceptional as well. It's worth noting that you need to use paid parking facilities if you come by car, with the nearest lot costing 19.50 Euros per day. However, along the main street leading to the hotel, there are some free parking spaces available. Additionally, dining out in Chamonix can be quite expensive. The ski resort of Brevent is nearby, but I recommend using the ski bus (number 14) from Chamonix Centre station, since the ski station is up on a hill.

So much to love! Hotel Les Gourmets is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Chamonix. The location couldn’t be better - it’s a 2 minute walk to the main square but it was also super quiet, both in the day and at night time. Our room on the 4th floor had fantastic views across the rooftops to the mountains beyond. The room was modern, spacious and tastefully decorated with a large, comfy double bed and a huge bathroom with a bath and shower (loads of hot water), towel radiator, hairdryer, soap and shampoo etc. In the room there is a kettle and a fridge - great for us tea loving Brits! The ski/boot room spacious and warm with boot dryers. Baggage can be stored if you arrive early or depart late. Staff are super friendly and all with excellent English. This hotel was such a great find and we highly recommend it.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, the pool is a win in the summer with a great view too. Nice area to relax next to the river after a long day in the mountains and it is always clean. We had a late transfer to the airport and was able take a shower in the downstairs bathroom after a sweaty day in the mountains (and they provided towels) which was incredible and greatly appreciated. I have stayed here before and will again, it is generally one of the first hotels I look at when going to Chamonix.

From the very beginning of our trip planning, the hotel staff was exceptionally supportive, assisting us with transfers, ski rentals, and other arrangements. They answered all my inquiries quickly and in a very detailed manner. The reception team, particularly Isabelle, was incredibly helpful and provided us with great advice regarding the ski resorts. The breakfast was outstanding, and the hotel's close proximity to Chamonix center was a key factor in our decision. I am certain that we will choose this hotel again next year!

Stunning location, pretty little village of Chamonix, the view from.our balcony was to die for, watching the sun rise over the Mont Blanc Massif, absolutely breathtaking.😍 Rooms are on the small.side.,but then you don't need more. Bed was comfy, I would have liked to have a mini fridge in the room but there was none. Breakfast was ok, for 15 euro/person. Hotel.is located very centrally, close to the main street with shops and restaurants. In the summer they have a pool as well. Overall a nice stay, I would go again for sure.
